WHO WE ARE
The Council of Elk Park is made up of The Mayor and five council members elected every two years. From improving the water and sewer infrastructure to constructing a park for everyone to enjoy, the decisions of the board always have the best interest of the town and citizens at heart.

Mayor Daniel Boone
MAYOR 2018 - CURRENT
ALDERMAN 2009 - 2018

Succeeding his father John Boone as Mayor, Daniel has served on the board for fourteen years. First as an elected alderman, then appointed as Mayor in 2018, after his father's unexpected death in May.
He and his wife, Brandy Boone have two sons, Bentley and Braxton. Mayor Boone received his private air pilot's license in 2013 and hopes to be a commercial air pilot when he retires his current career as a highway patrolman.
As an asset for the Elk Park community, Mayor Boone has worked hard to bring a new light to Elk Park, as well as continuing the small town charm that we all love about our home.

DEPARTMENTS
Elk Park is made up of three departments. Administration, Public Works and the Police Department.
With the full time population of approximately 550 citizens, Elk Park's employee base is minimal
but dedicated to provide the best for Elk Park.
